Add salmon into a pot then add the paprika, black pepper, stock cube, parsley, and salt.
Pour in water to cover the salmon by half an inch.
Place the pot on medium heat and cook salmon for 5-6 minutes or till it's tender and cooked.
Carefully take the salmon out of the broth and transfer to a plate.
Serve boiled salmon.

The ingredients used in this recipe are not cast in stone. You can tweak it and include your favorite herbs and spices such as thyme, oregano, or rosemary.
Unless you have a reason for taking the skin off, boil salmon with skin as it is quite tasty and helps prevent the fish from breaking apart.
If you're cooking salmon without the skin you do not need to cook it for 8 minutes. Between 5 to 6 minutes is just fine.
Use a slotted spoon to carefully take it out of the broth.
Don't discard the broth as it can be used in recipes that call for fish broth. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
