Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spice jar

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon Onion granules
  • ½ tablespoon Garlic powder or granules
  • ½ tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

Instructions

  • Bring out all the ingredients.
  • Using measuring spoons, measure them into a small bowl.
  • Mix all the ingredients together till they are well combined.
  • Use immediately or store in an air-tight container for future use.

Notes

  • Dry all tools before use.
  • Shake the seasoning before use to remix any spice or herb that's settled at the bottom of the container.
  • It's best to make in small batches and not store for too long so there is no flavor loss. I recommend to not store for more than 3 months.
  • Don't pour seasoning from the container directly over steaming food to prevent moisture from getting into the jar and causing it to clump or moldy.
  • Adjust the pepper quantity to your preference.
  • You can grind the mix in a dry mill for a finer texture.
