How To Flavor Rice
Here's how to make flavored rice:
Wash the rice in warm water until the water runs clear then drain in a colander.
Place a pot on medium heat, then add butter to the pot.
Add the washed rice to the pot, then toast the rice in the butter for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in the parsley, thyme, bouillon cubes, black pepper, paprika, onion, and garlic powder.
Add water to the rice, give it a good stir, cover the pot with its lid, and cook the rice on high heat till it starts to boil then reduce to low heat and continue to simmer rice for another 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Take the pot off the heat, let it rest for 5-6 minutes then fluff the rice with a fork.
Serve.

This depends on the type of rice. For easy cook long grain rice, the cooking time is 25-30 minutes.
